Dan has been playing in bands since the age of 17 years old in West Covina and then up to Washington state with a band called Phoenixx when he was 25 years old. Dan would start another band in San Diego by the same name of Phoenixx with his close friend Chalrles Holden. In the 1980's Dan played with Troy Dent & Calico and started playing in clubs from San Diego to LA to Palm Springs. That band was featured on a local cable show as well. From the mid 90's through 2000 Dan played with a band called Witchita at the Beaver Creek Saloon in Escondido. During the 80's & 90's Dan played with many fine country musicians but from 1995 through 2004 Dan stepped back from performing. During this time he met his wife Rowena. They have become foster/adoptive parents of 6 children. After about 12 years Dan put an online ad looking for any local country bands to play with once in a while. Joey answered Dan's ad and Dan filled the previous bass players position around Sept. '08. Dan has found it to be a very good experience to play with musicians who just "love to play".
